Hollis Heights Open 2008

This was truly an event worth posting! Many of you may recognize this event as Jock Connell, but this is the grown up version... well at least the graduate version.

My good friend, Scott Berta, took a very popular fraternity social event and decided to host it at his house so that we could relive our glory days once a year. It was about 138 degrees outside, but we had a lot of fun and caught up with some old friends.

This is Melissa with her beautiful baby Marley! So cute! She and Mary Grace got along famously! Wylie found a toy car that had a removable engine, so he was busy the rest of the day. I think he came outside once in need of something.

For those of you who do not recognize the event, this was a FIJI social event at Georgia where we played a faux game of golf using an empty beer can as a golf tee and plastic golf set as the clubs. The dates, or girls, were the caddies, and the boys dressed as ridiculous as posssible.

This is Scott!
What started in Scott's yard, has now expanded onto three lawns in the historic Hollis Heights neighborhood of Newnan Georgia. I'm sure the Chamber of Commerce is delighted! We can't wait until next year, when I'm sure the event will be planned sometime in April... right Scott? We will work on finding a sitter now.
