This was a very trying week for me as a mother. Drew went out of town for a conference, so of course my children decided to get sick. I think I have totally scared my best friend Hollie out of having children of her own. I also do not think that my poor den will ever be the same, and no there is not enough Febreeze in all of Marietta that will help.
This picture was taken during one moment of peace. You can tell by the look on MG's face that she does not feel well. This was taken before child A had come down with the stomache bug. Notice the white paint behind the bed where the previous owners did not bother to paint behind their bed. 5 minutes later...
Notice the crazed look on Wylie's face, as they bounce on our bed. This look says "ha ha you will not be getting any sleep for the remainder of the week! "
I shift gears now, pun intended, to highlite where my husband was on Friday, when I had come down with the stomache bug.
Yes, my redneck husband was racing cars with his brother. Back off ladies he is all mine! This was actually Drew's birthday present. He is happy to report that the Bingham, Budlight, Febreeze sponsored number 72 Chevy Corvette ran good.
I am looking forward to a better week!
