Latest Doctor's visit
I guess I should back up and revisit the thyroid issue. It is fine thanks to my brother, Russ, for putting me at ease. Turns out the thyroid is in a whole different location than the midwife was inspecting...hmmmmm. I guess I should have paid more attention in anatomy class ( That midwife should have done the same.)
Anyway, I now know that I will be getting a shot in the fanny every week starting in two weeks until I give birth! Which is officially July 8. Woo hoo, this pregnancy just keeps getting more fun. The doctor seems to think that these shots will give me a better chance of carrying full term, which I am extremely excited about.
I love the idea of having a FAT baby!!!!!!!!!!
In addition to getting my first shot in two weeks, I will also be getting the AFP test, which is a series of tests checking for birth defects. That means more bloodwork, but another ultrasound.
I also have to do my first sucrose test...more bloodwork. I will be surprised if I don't pass out from blood loss!
The good news is that the morning sickness seems to finally be going away, and I am getting a little more energy back. Yay!
Yours,

Wylie's 5th Birthday Bash!
We had cake and pizza inside of our party room. There is actually a funny story about the cake. You can tell that the cake is massive, and judging by the photos there were not nearly enough people there to finish it off. I guess me and my pregnant brain decided that a cake that would feed 60 people was a good idea. If that does not send me into gestational diabetes, I don't know what will!
At least the kids enjoyed it!
We all had a great time, especially the birthday boy. Thanks to everyone that could come!
Now that I have my camera back from my parents, I promise to blog more frequently.

Blogger MIA...?
This is Not my ultrasound, but this is what the little butter bean looks like right now. I am probably (Crazy Midwife) 9 weeks pregnant, and I have gotten to see him, and hear the little heartbeat twice now. Nothing is more exciting or real than getting to hear the heartbeat. I love it!
